I have been busy this past month. So busy that it came with burn out, which meant a lack of social media posts for a while. Unfortunately, I didn’t succeed at any form of Christmas season postings either. Failing at both Blogmas and Vlogmas.
I wasn’t too thrilled at that, but I simply put too much pressure on myself. I didn’t give myself enough time to actually prepare anything. I didn’t have spare camera batteries, or back up pre-written posts. I also didn’t have any help with anything. But that isn’t that point today.
Today’s post aims to update you on my social media growth. We are heading into the first month of 2025. I, once again, have major goals for January, but this time, there is no option for failure. I will be actively trying my hardest, inclusive of sleeping enough. I am trying to be the healthiest and happiest version of myself this new year, and I’m eager.
Let’s get straight into the social media stats available. I am excited to see where this goes for each of my major social platforms.
YouTube – I started the month with 55 Subscribers and I was posting every second day. I was hoping that doing Vlogmas would lead me to a nice clean 100, at least. Unfortunately though, because I stopped Vlogmas early, I ended the month with 80 instead. I’m still extremely proud of this growth, being so close to the first 100 Subscribers feels incredible.
Instagram – Starting with 162 followers, lead me to believe that, with regular posts, I could potentially get to 200. Once again though, I was burnt out from other tasks and ended up gaining only a small 2 followers. That meant getting to 164 in total for the account.
Tik Tok – I don’t think I really posted anything on Tik Tok in December, and it showed. I stayed completely stable all month, with no growth. Meaning that I was and still am at 375 followers. I absolutely will be smashing out some Tik Tok’s this month though! I promise.
Website – As always, I do usually get a few more views after I post my monthly re-sets. That meant that Novembers view count was a whopping 238. This month I wasn’t thrilled with that content I posted, and I think others weren’t as well. I still got an impressive 167 views so far. Obviously, that could still grow by the end of the month.
I have a few major goals for the new year. You better believe that I’ll absolutely be smashing them early on to ensure success. I know that I haven’t done as well as I wanted to this year, but I’m still proud. I posted very regularly on both YouTube and this Blog. I also kept up with Instagram and Tik Tok pretty well, even in the crazy market season I had.
I’m excited to see where the future of 2025 takes me. I’m absolutely thrilled to go through all my goals and dreams in future posts.
